Resource scheduler demotes preloaded content in favor of critical assets

Google updated the beta channel for Chrome browser, incrementing the build number to 27.0.1453.15. The fresh revision, available for all supported platforms (WindowsMacLinux and Chrome Frame), brings to the table faster page loading, by 5%.

This could be achieved through improvements made to the resource scheduler, which now deals more aggressively with idle connections and reduces the priority of preloaded resources so that they do not interfere with critical assets.

Freshly introduced in Chrome Beta is a better-looking calendar, thanks to introducing elegant HTML5 date and time <input> forms. Check out the difference on this page.

Further notable improvements in this revision refer to WebRTC (real-time communications), as live audio can be used as input to Web Audio API. At the moment, this works only on Windows and Mac.
