Google released a new minor update for the stable channel of Chrome browser. The fresh build is 24.0.1312.56 and it is currently available for all supported platforms (WindowsMacLinux and Chrome Frame).

It contains a handful of general repairs as well as several security fixes. The developer eliminated the problem that affected vertical scrolling when the mouse wheel would be set to scroll one screen at a time in Windows. Under these settings, the users would experience scrolling one pixel at a time instead of an entire screen.

Also fixed is the problem with clicked links being marked as read when navigating back to the original page.

Some users would experience trouble when installing the application as admin, when multiple Chrome user accounts would be available. The details about this issue are available here.

On Mac systems, the developer solved the problem with the crash in WebRTC audio clients for 96kHz render rate.
