Firefox is not the only browser to improve its developer tools, Chrome is making some enhancements to the existing developer tools as well, the latest addition which hasn't landed in the dev channel yet is a color picker for the CSS editor.
With the color picker, web developers can customize the look of a web page or site by editing the CSS and seeing the changes live. When experimenting with different color combinations, the picker comes in handy since it leaves some of the guesswork out of selecting the color you want.
The feature should debut soon in Google Chrome 19 which is in the dev channel which means that it will be more than a couple of months before it lands in the stable channel.
If you're checking out the latest Chromium, you may also notice that the About dialog has been removed and is now part of the Settings page, the Help section.
