Google has rolled out an update for Chromebooks which comes with Google Chrome 17.0.963.60, part of Chrome OS 1412.205.0. Since this is the stable channel, changes are small, the update only fixes some stability and security issues.

The Flash Player, the Pepper version that comes built into Chrome OS, has also been updated to Flash 11.1.31.310.

An issue that may be affecting some users hasn't been fixed in the latest update, deleting a 802.1x certificate may require users to restart their Chromebooks in order to use other WiFi networks.

Chrome 17 was recently introduced to the stable channel for Chromebooks as well so it will be a while before a new major release lands. In the meantime, small fixes are to be expected at a regular interval.
