New version of the Google product

Google Checkout is an online paying system accessible to numerous countries and owned by Google. Since the release of the product, the search giant tried to promote it and offered free processing until December 31, 2007. After this period, Google Checkout will start to charge the registered merchants with $0.20 per transaction. Because it is often regarded as one of the most secure and fast way to buy stuff straight from the Internet, Google decided to make it available to more clients, releasing a new UK version of Checkout. It was revealed today and offers the same functions as the basic version of the solution but it includes several UK sellers and products.

The company is now offering a special bonus for all the customers of Checkout UK, every new client receiving ?10 for all the orders bigger than ?30. Google is also offering free processing for the UK customers, sustaining the promotion will run until 2008.

"We're excited to tell you that as of this morning the speed, security, and convenience of Google Checkout is available to online shops and shoppers in the United Kingdom. Here's Google Checkout UK. From now until 2008, merchants that offer Checkout in the UK will receive free credit and debit card processing for all of their Checkout sales. And just so buyers don't feel left out, we're giving them ?10 off all orders over ?30," Jerry Dischler, Senior Product Manager, sustained in a blog post published today.

As you know, Google Checkout is a powerful rival for PayPal, the search giant's product being regarded as the perfect alternative for the well-known online paying solution. In the recent period, a lot of merchants are attracted by the low fees required by Google, Checkout having all the features for a leader solution in its category.
