We all know that Google wants to expand its mobile offering with new products or even hardware devices but for now, the Mountain View makes small steps which can support its evolution in the future. Yesterday, when Google actually celebrated its 9th anniversary, the super giant made itself a nice present: the acquisition of Zingku, a mobile social network which can be used to promote or share information through your handheld device. Although the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, the Zingku official page states that "we've entered into an agreement to have Google acquire our Zingku service."

According to the mobile social network, the company will start the accounts migration on October 4, 2007 when the entire amount of data is transferred to Google. Obviously, you have two options: to keep your account active and move to the search giant or to disable your account and have your data removed. In case you choose the second option, you must write an email to Zingku containing your information in order to be deleted from their database.

"We've entered into an agreement to have Google acquire our Zingku service. If you want to continue with our service, you don't need to do anything; your account and service will be transferred over to Google at the completion of the acquisition," Zingku states on the official page of the service.

"If you'd rather not maintain your account as a result of the acquisition, no problem. You can choose to discontinue your account any time before October 4, 2007 and your account won't be transferred over to Google. We will delete your account and all information connected to your account. Your user agreements with us will terminate. To discontinue your account, email Zingku. We will contact you at your registered email address to confirm your deletion request before completing it."
