Or maybe not if you're a lucky guy

Google Search is a search engine that contains a huge number of features that allow you to do all kinds of stuff: view the current forecast, find information about specific persons, cities or countries and even view maps captured from satellites. Beside all these functions, Google Search enables you to do math operations, equations and conversion from several units.

How can we do this? All you need to do is visit the official webpage of Google? search engine and type the operation you want (for example: 2+2). After you press Search, Google will return you the result of the equation, placed above all the search results. Because it can be used with ease, this feature of the search engine was one of the most popular and represented an alternative for the classic calculators.

It seems like the beginning of the year 2007 offered to Google users an issue that causes Google calculator errors. ?No calculator result for [2007-10=] either. All of these searches resulted in meaningful calculator onebox results before. Even when I try the official calculator sample queries from Google?s help, I get nothing. The query [half a cup in teaspoons] returns a Google Books onebox (thanks, but no) and [5+2*2] returns only organic search results,? Philipp Lenssen said on his blog.

The problem was fixed by the company, so you can use the feature provided by the search engine without errors or other problems. Matt Cutts also posted a message to respond to the post made by Philipp, saying that the issue was fixed by the Calculator Team.

?Yup, I think the calculator folks are on this and looks like it's fixed. When I search for ~help I see help bolded as well as "support" and "FAQ" so I think the tilde operator is working. I wouldn't expect [~help -help] to return any results (way in the past it did, but I think people started to scrape to find the synonyms),? he said.
