In January 17, 2006, Google announced that the company acquired dMarc Broadcasting, a firm that provides digital solutions for the radio broadcast industry.

Since the announcements of partnership, the company issued an idea that Google Ads will be converted into audio ads, a process that will create the possibility of expanding ads outside the internet.

Because many speculations have been recently made public, Josh M., a member of the Google Audio Ads team, posted a message on the Google AdWords blog to confirm the beginning of Google Audio Ads tests.

"Over the last year, we've been working hard to integrate the dMarc advertising platform into Google AdWords. We're happy to announce that the integration is now complete and we've recently begun a U.S. beta test of Google Audio Ads with a small group of AdWords advertisers," he said.

Google Audio Ads is a new service that will be released by Google, offering users an online interface that will allow them to create audio ads to be run on radio stations. After the ads are presented on a specific radio station, the service will automatically provide reports to display you the current revenues.

"As mentioned, the first beta test campaigns recently launched, and you may have already heard these advertisers' ads while driving to work or listening to the radio at home. The beta launch may leave you wondering when you will be able to use Google Audio Ads for your own radio campaigns? Well, we haven't set a date yet for when the product will be more widely released," the Google employee mentioned.

Some time ago, Google released another audio service that allows blind people to surf the internet easier, by using audio captcha that enables them to enter specific sites without the need of reading verification images.
