Interesting Google celebration

Google Seattle recently hosted a special day for the local office, allowing the employees to bring their kids to work. The special event, codenamed Bring Your Daughter/Son To Work Day, was held last Thursday and attracted a huge and loud crowd in the Google office. "Those kids are loud! How about a Bring Your Teenager To Work Day? At least surly teens can be quiet and stare at the wall. Still, the science stuff that was the focus of the video was interesting," Nathan Weinberg from Inside Google sustained in a blog post.

As you know, Google tries to make its employees work better by giving them all they need, bundled with excellent work conditions. Recently, Google was named as the best company in the world to work for, because most of its employees are receiving an impressive salary and the best work conditions for an online firm. At this time, some of the Mountain View company's products are developed by individual employees and not by entire departments or teams as the company's officials are allowing them to spend no more than 20 percent of the work time on individual projects.

On March 31, 2007 it was reported that Google has 12.238 employees in its offices all around the world. The company tries to expand its products periodically and releases regional versions of the services as well as new offices in large countries. For example, Google struggles to conquer China but it is rejected almost every time by the local giant Baidu. However, the search giant tries different techniques to attract the Chinese customers and fights with the local companies but, until now, its efforts have proved to be quite useless.
