Google's Blogger is surely the most popular blog service on the Internet that allows users to post messages and articles using a simple administration panel. It seems like the product was a little too popular because the search giant decided to remove a New Zealand blog that posted several threats against a well known politician.

"Google axes death-threat blog at The Sydney Morning Herald reports that Google finally shut down CYFSWATCH New Zealand blog after numerous complaints from governmental officials in New Zealand. The blog, hosted on Google's Blogger service, reportedly wrote a death threat against a New Zealand politician. When you access the blog at this time, it says "NONE" and that is followed with "No posts match your query." But the Google Cache still shows blog posts from the blog, at this point in time," Search Engine Land reported.

It seems like the blog encouraged users to post private information about several politicians while multiple Government officials sent multiple complaints to New Zealand authorities. The blog was shut down this morning, after the Ministry of Social Development demanded the search giant to ban the blogger. At this time, you're still able to access the blog using the cache function available on the Google Search Engine that returns exactly the same content as the original source.

Following Google's decision, the censorship matter is again one of the main Google related topics because some of the users consider the company should let the blog available for all readers. Although its messages infringed some of the most important terms imposed by Google, the search giant's representatives are continuously sustaining the company is trying to remove as little content as they can, but this blog was representing a repeated violation issue.
