Google AdWords is again being used in a cleverly designed phishing expedition that's set out to get your log-in information.

According to GFI Labs, an email pops up in the inbox of the victim alerting that the Google service stopped running the account.

“We have encountered a number of issues when reviewing your ads this morning and we stopped running them. We will review them again and make the necessary changes that will allow to run your ads without any problems,” reads the message.

Once the link contained in the message is clicked, the user is taken to a rogue log-in page that replicates almost perfectly the legitimate website.

The hoax is revealed if you take a good look at the address bar, which instead of a genuine Google address, displays something like google-lft.com.
