Google AdWords, the advertising platform that allows people to advertise on the Internet using the power of the best search technology, is now compatible with Docs & Spreadsheets, the freeware word processor offered by the same Google. Basically, it's all about a single function, the Report Center that provides valuable information about your advertising campaigns,
keywords and other details. Using the new interoperability, you can export the report into Docs & Spreadsheets and, what's more important, you can make use of the Google word processor's feature to analyze it. For example, you can invite other registered members to work on the report using the Share function implemented into the service.
"We've recently introduced the ability to export your AdWords reports to Google Docs & Spreadsheets. If you want to share your reports with others in your organization, you can easily invite them to view or contribute. With Google Docs & Spreadsheets, you and your collaborators can edit your documents and spreadsheets from anywhere, and share changes in real-time," the AdWords team wrote today.
If you want to export a certain report into the Google Docs & Spreadsheets format, you must open the report and click on the 'Open as a Google spreadsheet' link. In addition, you are able to choose from up to 4 formats: .csv for Excel, .csv, .tsv and .xml.
This new feature is very important for many users because some of them were often looking for a simple way to download their reports and share them with other persons. Obviously, this is also a useful move for Docs & Spreadsheets, a technology that tends to become compatible with most of the Google products as many of them are already able to work with the Office suite. For example, you can view the attachments of your Gmail messages straight into Docs & Spreadsheets using the implementation made by Google.
