Google's Search Engine will become more flexible for searching information, email and other products developed by the company, the employees sustained today. As you surely know, Google is more than a simple search engine, allowing users to search for almost every type of information available on the Internet, including sites, news, videos, blog posts and even jobs. The company aims to make it even more powerful using a new acquisition able to provide useful statistics for the Google products.

Gapminder is a non-profit organization "for development and provision of free software that visualize human development." Using the acquisition, Google aims to provide a better analysis over its search technologies, allowing the company to add a little bit more flexibility to the search products.

"Trendalyzer generates moving graphics and other novel effects in the display of facts, figures, and statistics in presentations. In its nimble hands, Trendalyzer views development data-such as regional income distribution or trends in global health-as literally a world of opportunity. Like Google, Gapminder strives to make information more useful, and Trendalyzer will improve any function or application in which data might be better visualized," Marissa Mayer, VP Search Products & User Experience, sustained in a blog post.

In the recent period, Google had an interesting campaign to attract new partners able to provide the features needed by the search giant's services. Because sometimes it's better to acquire a company than to develop your own products with certain functions, Google recently bought Adscape (in-game advertising firm) and now Gapminder.
