Along with introducing the +1 button for websites, Google also rolled it out for more of its own properties. The +1 button is now available on YouTube and you can embed it on Blogger. If you like an app from the Android Market, you can tell the world as well.

"We're excited to roll out the Google +1 button on YouTube. The +1 button will be available to everyone on the YouTube watch page under the Share feature," YouTube's Rick Klau announced.

"If you're signed in, you'll also be able to see +1 annotations from your Google contacts on YouTube search results," he added.

Now, if you like a YouTube video, you can share that with your friends via the +1 button as well. The new feature is hidden in the Share section, but it's one of the three default buttons, along with the Facebook and Twitter buttons.

Even more interesting is the fact your friends will see the videos you +1ed in the YouTube search results. This placement is much more relevant than on generic search results which may also include videos.

Google also enabled bloggers to add the +1 button to their blogs along with the other share button options. This way, readers can +1 a post they like and their friends will find it easier in their search results.

"To add the +1 button to your blog, you’ll need to enable Share buttons on Blogger," Marcos Almeida, Software Engineer at Blogger, wrote.

"To do this, go to Design > Page Elements on your Blogger dashboard, find the Blog posts area, click on Edit, and select the 'Show Share Buttons' option. If you are already using Share buttons, the +1 button will automatically show up as a new share option," he explained.

That's not all, the +1 button will now be available on the Android Market as well, enabling you to recommend apps you like. Finally, the +1 button is also integrated into Product Search, another obvious choice.
