Google's PowerPoint Clone To Be Released These Days

A long time ago, the Internet bloggers discovered a document signed by the Mountain View Google in which they found details about a new technology prepared by the company. At that time, many of them said that Google's new solution is a presentation tool, codename Presently, that is supposed to represent the PowerPoint killer. Today, The Inquirer reports the super giant Google prepares the release of this solution these days but the company's official didn't confirm it yet. However, Google confirmed some time ago that a presentation tool was in the labs so we are all expecting to see it in action.

Many of the Internet users are talking about this product as a PowerPoint killer because, being a presentation tool, it might offer almost the same features as the solution provided by Microsoft. In addition, the Mountain View company's technology would have numerous advantages as it will available for free and accessible through a single browser instance. Google Presently would be the last application to join the Google Office suite which now contains Docs & Spreadsheets, Calendar, Gmail and other technologies powered by the super giant Google.

"Called Presently, the slideshow program is likely to be based in part on code Google bought through the acquisitions of Zenter and Tonic Systems earlier this year," The Inquirer wrote in an article published today. "Google is presently touring publishing houses to show Presently, so even if they make hacks sign an infuriatingly Web 1.0 non-disclosure agreement, an announcement can't be far off."

Microsoft's Office solution is currently the leader of the category and there is no competition for it. Google Apps comes from a different area, the online one, where most of the products are available for free and accessible from the web-browser. Moreover, Google is famous for offering free technologies that provide well-developed functions in numerous areas.
