Google wants to make its advertising platforms very powerful and this statement is proven by several updates revealed in the recent period. As you know, Google AdSense is now available to all Romanians and Greeks, an update introduced yesterday and officially confirmed today. Now, the search giant makes another important step by releasing a new feature for AdWords able to help advertisers organize their campaign easier. The new option, codenamed Preferred Cost Bidding, allows advertisers to select a preferred CPC or CPM according to their desire.

"For example, suppose you want to pay an average CPC of $0.50. Currently, you need to regularly monitor and adjust your maximum CPC bids to keep your costs at or around $0.50 per click. Using preferred cost bidding, you can simply tell us that you want your average CPC to be $0.50, and we'll manage your bids to reach that goal," Vivian, Inside AdWords crew, sustained in a blog post published today.

According to the blog post, the feature is not yet available to all the AdWords advertisers but the function will be officially introduced for all members in the upcoming days. The new ability to control your bid will be displayed on the Edit Campaign Settings page included into your AdWords account.

In the recent period, Google is struggling to take the advertising platform to the offline media by making several partnerships with offline companies. As you know, Google started a testing campaign a long time ago after the search giant signed a deal with several newspapers. The company selected some of the AdWords advertisers and published their ads into the US publications. Then, Google started a new test by sending several adverts to numerous US radio stations. Now, the company aims to take the adverts straight on the street by placing adverts on billboards and in multiple US stores.
