For addicted Halo fans, the multiplayer Beta of
Halo 3 was something like a gift from God. Not only did gamers get a glimpse at what awaits for them in September, but modders also cracked its code into the tiniest of pieces to reveal all of the game's
hidden features and items. With just a few more shooting hours to go, make sure that you find a game to join by tonight.
Naturally, with so little time to spare, Xbox Live is packed full with Spartans proving their might, whether it's Valhalla where the shootout takes place, or the Banshee that's the favorite of all vehicles. And while some enjoy a race against the clock, recording frags by the second, others can be more melancholic, now that the Beta is approaching the end, sitting ducks for the more experienced and mature
Master Chiefs.
But hey, remember the story about
Halo 3 Beta through Crackdown not working? When Bungie fixed all the issues and made it available for those who purchased Crackdown, they prolonged the Beta's time frame with almost a week. So stop whining and get in there to "finish the fight!"
107 days to go until Halo 3 is released for the Xbox 360 console. However, you may very well choose to trade your old SKU in for 200 bucks or so and get your very own, HDMI enabled Xbox 360 Elite, with an amazing 120 gigs of storage space. Not that you'd need all of that memory for Halo 3, but hey, you don't have to worry about deleting anything, and who knows, maybe accidentally delete some of that
Spartan customization...? You know modders revealed some juicy details about that too.
Anyway, enjoy your last fights, but if you've got exams or other school stuff, don't tell mom and dad that there was a bomb threat over at your school, that just wouldn't be nice...
