What remains when all Sudoku games from your newspapers are solved?

Ludimate has recently released Sensible Sudoku 2 for the Symbian platform. It is a game destined only for Sudoku fans, as normal mobile phone gamers would fail to appreciate the game at its true potential.

Why this Sudoku game is more "Sensible" than the original game played on paper or even on the PC, the publishers did not explain. It could be a "sensible" prompt that encourages the player to keep trying to solve the puzzle after several hours of having fun with numbers. Or it could not.

One thing is for sure: Sudoku has never been a game destined for the action-orientated type of players, but more for the "sensible" ones. An explanation for the name catches shape when you think of that.

Putting aside the title of the game, the mobile phone version offers plenty of features that compensate for the thrill of solving a puzzle in pencil and making personal annotations. The interface is elegant and comes along in several colors and patterns, as to break monotony.

The game's difficulty level can be set by choosing from a range that goes from Very Easy to Extreme level. The "Extreme" one sounds less "sensible" and is meant to stimulate the user's solving abilities at top capacity.

Probably the most important aspect about the game is that it offers simple and full hints. Even more, the solution to a game can be solved in several sessions. So, you don't have to struggle finding the solution to the puzzle before the phone's battery is dead.

"Sensible Sudoku 2" is available for Symbian S60 and Windows Smartphone handsets by online download from the Ludimate website.
