The newly available PC, Mac and Linux exploration video game called “Gone Home” has now received a Commentary Mode. All those that are playing the game on Steam will get the chance to experience the free update, as it is now available.

This Commentary Mode represents about an hour and a half of new behind-the-scenes audio content. Players will get the chance to hear Sarah Grayson as the voice of Sam, Chris Remo, composer of the original score, and most of all Corin Tucker, lead singer of the Heavens to Betsy.

Once the copy is updated, players just need to start the game, set up the Commentary Mode from the Modifiers menu and that's it. After that you can enjoy the game and these new hot scoops from behind the scenes of Gone Home.

Those interested in the original soundtrack ought to know that is now available on Chris Remo's page on Bandcamp.

You will be happy to hear that it includes all the audio diary music as well as the game's introduction. Also, numerous versions of the ambiences from the game will be included.

Players that have not yet bought the game must know that a great discount is now available. The game is now at 50% off in Steam's Midweek Madness Sale. Also, you can find this offer on Gone Home's official page as well as in Mac App Store.

Unfortunately, this amazing offer will last only 48 hours. Therefore, interested gamers should hurry and get it while they still can.

For those that might not know, Gone Home is an Independent Games Festival finalist and has also received the Honorable Mention for Excellence in Audio and the Seumas McNally Grand Prize.

Fans can follow the game on Twitter, @GoneHomeGame or can even like its Facebook page for any new updates as well as peeks behind the scenes.
