Best quality incoming for football managers who own consoles

The greatest football (or soccer, if you wish) management game in the world will finally be available for a greater audience, since Sega has just announced that the Xbox 360 version is done, packed and ready to hit the retail stores starting the 28th of March this year. So play Halo and COD as long as you can because starting next month we'll have a new "most played" game available. Of course this will never happen (but it should).

Miles Jacobson, Studio Director of Sports Interactive, had an exclusive interview with Softpedia recently about FM Live and now commented on the Xbox 360 release: "We're really pleased to be able to offer all Xbox 360 owners the chance to play Football Manager. This years game is the first that "core" users will be able to enjoy due to the hard work of the development team, and we look forward to getting a new generation of budding Football Manager's across Europe."

Football Manager 2008 for Xbox 360 has been updated with all transfers from the last transfer window, and retains all the depth and realism of the PC version. The Xbox 360 version also utilizes Xbox Live to have different online modes to the PC game, permitting you to challenge friends to one-on-one matches and even host tournaments, and is a multi-region game, so European copies will work on Xbox 360's around the world.

So... if consoles won't have FM Live, at least they'll get the chance to enjoy part of it with an even better setup: playing FM 2008 on their Xbox. And that, my friends, will be some time well spent - the sales figures say it too, since this latest title is the best seller in the Football Manager franchise.
