For instance, insiders tell Us Weekly that even though her 3-month romance with Jake Gyllenhaal was over ages ago in Hollywood time (about 3 years ago for us mortals), she still acts like a silly schoolgirl at the sight of him.
Accidental run-in at the Golden Globes 2015 afterparty
Taylor Swift didn’t attend the Golden Globes 2015 ceremony, held on Sunday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, probably because she had no reason to be there: she wasn’t nominated and she had no new project to promote.
However, she and a bunch of her best friends, including Selena Gomez, Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne, did hit the party circuit after the show, and at one of these afterparties, she came dangerously close to having a face-to-face with Jake.
That would be the same Jake who, as per reports, dumped her over the phone, took her virginity, broke her heart and lied to her by making her think what they had was more than a fling. He could have done one or more of these things, depending on whom you choose to believe.
So naturally, she wanted to avoid crossing paths with him or even having to exchange pleasantries, as it would have been the polite way to behave in such large company.
Making a break for the bathroom
“She wasn't dancing, but I saw her grab her friend's hand and repeat, ‘We have to go. We have to go’,” an eyewitness reveals.
Taylor made a dash for the bathroom, where she was joined by Rita and Cara, who provided her the comfort she needed so badly. “Taylor was having a mini meltdown,” the spy continues. “Cara's arm was around Taylor, calming her down as Rita looked on. They were talking extremely closely.”
The same source claims that the singer managed to avoid meeting Jake, but doesn’t say how long the “mini meltdown” lasted. From photos available online, mostly on social media, it didn’t look like she had a single worry that night: on the contrary, it seems as if Taylor had the best time at the party with her friends.
