14 DAY TRIAL // Taylor Swift has not been the luckiest woman in love so far, and it wasn’t for lack of trying. The singer has a long history of brief and highly mediated romances, which has often made her love life a joke for fellow industry people and the tabloids. Perhaps her luck will change with Jared Leto.
Aside from making her love life an ongoing joke, Taylor’s dating habits have also made her predisposed to dating rumors whenever she’s photographed next to a man, especially if he’s good-looking and seems her type.
The other night at the Golden Globes 2014, which she attended because she’d been nominated for Best Original Song, Taylor sat close to Jared Leto, who ended up winning for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in “Dallas Buyers Club.”
Perhaps because they were in close vicinity or maybe because something more was also going on, the two also posed for pictures together, one of which you can see attached to this article: it was posted to Jared’s Instagram account, with the simple caption “Me. Taylor Swift. Golden Globes. xo.”
The Daily Mail says that there was definitely some flirting going on between these two and hints that a romance could be in the cards for Taylor and 42-year-old Jared (insert here “ohmigod, Jared is 42?!”). Apparently, the two cozied up at the InStyle Golden Globes afterparty as well.
“The two musicians posed for a photo together at the party looking quite fond of one another, which Jared later reposted onto Instagram. An additional photo of the pair also surfaced journalist Marlow Stern posted a picture on Twitter of the pair having what seemed to be an intimate conversation as Jared talked into Taylor's ear,” writes the British tab.
“The journalist posted the image with the message: ‘Golden Globe winner Jared Leto chatting up Taylor Swift @Instyle #GoldenGlobes afterparty’,” adds the Mail.
While we’re sure this is just a rumor, we can’t deny that Jared and Taylor would make a very good-looking pair, but the age gap (she’s 24, he’s 42) might be too much for some fans. What do you think?
