According to Elizabeth Moss, the two highlights for her at Golden Globes 2014 last night were the moment she won Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television and when she got to flip off E!’s mani-cam.

First things first though: the actress scooped up the prestigious award for her role in “Top of the Lake” and, if you’re to believe fans, it was about time the industry honored her as she deserves for her talent and hard work.

As for the flipping off, that occurred on the red carpet, after Giuliana Rancic asked her to show her manicure and her jewelry on the so-called mani-cam, which is actually a camera set in a box with a red carpet, on which female stars “parade” their fingers.

However, Moss didn’t do any parading and, as she says in the video above, she’s in shock that she’s the first to think of flipping off the mani-cam. Her gesture went viral.

She tells Giuliana she has no reason to apologize for that and jokes that she’s actually sorry she had a perfect chance to show off her brand new manicure but she missed it because she was being so immature.
