14 DAY TRIAL // The 2013 edition of the Golden Globes is showing real promise to be incredibly fun and perhaps less offensive (for the celebrities invited), now that Ricky Gervais is no longer hosting. Above is a new ad for the awards show.
The promo features hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler nonchalantly chatting about the reasons they agreed to host the awards show.
First off, they’re looking to meet celebrities. Secondly, they’re hoping they will win. Third but not last, they’re so up to speed with pop culture that they want to be present when “Avatar” wins everything.
Hilarious is the term that best describes this promo. The chemistry between the two is also all sorts of amazing.
The 2013 Golden Globes will air live on NBC Sunday, January 13, and will take place at the Beverly Hilton.
