That Lindsay Lohan's career has seen better and more promising days is not news anymore. With all this, she still gets to party with some of the biggest names in the industry, but that's not necessarily because she's invited to.

Recent reports in the press claim that Lindsay snuck into a pre- and post-Golden Globes party and made it a point of posing for pictures even though she wasn't supposed to be there in the first place.

The first incident happened last week, at a pre-Globes party held by the Weinstein Company, the New York Daily News reports.

“Lindsay Lohan don’t need no stinkin’ Golden Globe nomination to get her picture taken. On Wednesday the Weinstein Company hosted a pre-Globes party at the Chateau Marmont in LA, and an insider says Lohan snuck in via the hotel’s back entrance,” the e-zine reports.

After getting in, Lindsay acted as if she truly belonged there – and even posed for photos with the stars there.

“She then 'made her way to the entrance for photo ops,' where the Weinstein firm’s Globe nominees, Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo from 'The Artist' and Kenneth Branagh and Michelle Williams from 'My Week With Marilyn,' were being snapped. Bradley Cooper also showed,” says the report.

Oddly enough, she seems to have pulled the same stunt at another event as well, this time held after last night's Golden Globes ceremony.

Photos of Lindsay on the red carpet are here. The background suggests it was another event organized by The Weinstein Company.

Even though these reports were met with jokes and jeers about Lohan's career, considered dead and buried in 2007, not all hope is lost for the once-promising actress.

Word online has it that Lifetime is considering making an Elizabeth Taylor biopic and that it's thinking of getting Lindsay to play the iconic diva.

Confirmation of that is still pending.
