Ryan Reynolds “is not my lovah,” Sandra Bullock says on the red carpet at the Golden Globes 2011

It took an exclusive event like the 2011 Golden Globes to get Sandra Bullock talking about her personal life. After weeks of constant speculation on whether she and Ryan Reynolds were an item or not, (his) fans can breathe easy now: they’re not.

As she worked the red carpet at the awards ceremony in a pale pink Jenny Packham gown and rocked new bangs, Sandra also made some time to take questions from the media.

Since the tabloids have been having a blast with rumors of her romance with her best friend Ryan Reynolds, the question was bound to come up.

While she’s clearly not upset about what people are saying, Bullock wants the world to know that she is not with Ryan, they’re just good friends, PopEater reports.

“I think there will be a collective sigh amongst women across the United States when I say he’s not my lovah,” Sandra told reporters on the red carpet.

“He’s just an amazing friend for 10 years. But I don’t get his loving after dark,” the actress joked, driving the point through, she was not romantically involved with him.

The Oscar-winning actress did say, though, that there was a man in her life – and he, unlike Ryan, was not allowed to date for many years to come.

“The main source of love in Bullock's life these days? Adorable 1-year-old son Louis, whose adoption she announced following her split with husband Jesse James,” PopEater writes.

“While Bullock has had a number of high-profile romances in the past, don’t expect her to be lax on the dating front when it comes to her little ‘Cajun cookie.’ The actress says that Louis is ‘off the market ‘til he is 18’,” reports the same e-zine.

As we also noted on several previous occasions, Ryan Reynolds was believed to have become romantically involved with Sandra shortly after Scarlett Johansson filed divorce from him, which, in turn, is said to have caused some animosity between the two ladies.
