It isn't really a remake, but rather a re-telling of the Golden Axe story: players will only be able to control Amazon warrior Tyris Flare in her quest to defeat the Death Adder. The story is quite simple and predictable: Tyris has lost all her loved ones to the evil Adder and now, she wants revenge. Both magic and melee weapons will be available to you and, the most important and interesting thing - lots of massive beasts to mount and fight against.

The game already looks incredibly well and, even though many of us will still feel the need to play with that dwarf we had in the first game, Tyris will sure manage to get a few fans in the world. And when we think about the fact that the developers have already polished a great, huge, single player campaign (twelve hours of gameplay is what they call huge) and cool realistic dismemberment, we can only say that Golden Axe Beast Rider is already a huge hit.

Choose any character and reach "Across the Sea" (Stage 5) without dying once.
