14 DAY TRIAL // The first 24 carat gold-plated Gold and Rose Gold BlackBerry Q10 smartphone in the world will be launched in Dubai on May 9, after being officially showcased on April 28.
The original BlackBerry Q10 smartphone was made officially available in the UK over the weekend, and has landed on shelves in Canada on May 1, and the Gold and Rose Gold flavors will be released only days after it, Gold & Co. London unveils.
The models will be launched at the Collector’s Palace, located in the world’s largest mall, the company also announced. Both devices will become available worldwide, it seems.
The new smartphone flavors are aimed mainly at individuals with a taste for technology and luxury, and are said to be able to provide them with the best of the two worlds.
“The launch will officially take place at Collector’s Palace in Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping mall which is located in the United Arab Emirates,” Gold & Co. London announced.
“Both gold-plated phones will be released on May 9, just days after the worldwide launch of the Q10 by BlackBerry. These gold-plated phones are limited edition models and are yet another exclusive release from Gold & Co., a company known as an industry leader,” the company also announced.
The 24 carat Gold BlackBerry Q10 and Rose Gold BlackBerry Q10 were announced for the first time back in January, when BlackBerry officially unveiled the BlackBerry 10 devices, but a specific release date for it was unveiled only now.
The gold BlackBerry Q10 models are individually numbered, custom made, and arrive on shelves in luxurious handcrafted wooden boxes and with a certificate of authenticity.
However, the supply is limited, which means that prospective consumers should already step towards securing a gold-plated BlackBerry Q10 unit.
