LG confirmed a week ago that it had sold around 3 million G2 smartphones worldwide. Unfortunately, the handset maker has yet to offer customers who supported the company by purchasing a G2 smartphone the latest Android 4.4 KitKat update.

Probably in order to increase the hype around its flagship smartphone once again, the South Korean company launched a gold-themed LG G2.

AndroidBeat reports that the gold version of G2 is now available for purchase in Taiwan for as low as $495 (€360) outright for the 16GB model, or $560 (€410) for the 32GB variant.

As expected, the smartphone ships with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, just like the white and black versions.

It’s also worth mentioning that there aren’t any new features included in the gold LG G2 in comparison with the other two models. For more details on the smartphone’s features, check out our database for LG G2 full specs.
