Today, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has officially confirmed plans to make the Gold-colored version of the HTC One available for purchase in Singapore starting with January 18.

Moreover, the company confirmed that the smartphone would hit shelves with a price tag of S$768 ($604/€443) attached to it, without contract.

At the same time, the new device will be launched in the country via major wireless carriers, which means that users will be able to grab it at subsidized prices, on contract, a post on UnleashThePhones reads.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the Gold-colored version of HTC One was launched a few months ago, after the actual Gold-plated version of the phone attracted a lot of eyes on it.

The handset has already been launched in a variety of markets out there, and it is rolling out to even more of them, as HTC is trying to increase sales of the device.

The Gold HTC One sports black accents on its case, but features the same hardware specifications as the original version.

HTC One arrives on the market with a 4.7-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, and it is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 processor.

The mobile phone also features 2GB of RAM inside, along with 32GB / 64GB of internal memory, but it does not come with a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

On the back, HTC One sports a 4MP UltraPixel camera with LED flash and full HD video recording, paired with a front camera for making video calls.

The specs list of the smartphone also includes 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as well as the usual set of sensors. Unfortunately, the handset is still powered by the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system, though it should receive an update to Android 4.4 KitKat soon.
