This recipe App was created by developers at the Gojee recipe aggregator and is available for Android devices, iPhone and iPad. It allows users to guide their selections by first choosing the ingredients.

The App search engine works by inputting ingredients you have and foods you terminally dislike, making the selection more catered to your specific taste.

Founders say this is a new way of looking at cooking, bringing the client inspiration for dishes, rather than providing a list of ingredients for recipes they are already familiar with.

"Its biggest value is in a new way to cook something, whether it's chicken or pork or turkey or fish. Often the way it's prepared is what is unique,” CEO and co-founder Michael Lavalle explained to Yahoo News.

If you are a vegetarian or lactose-intolerant, you can customize you selection and the app will remember it the next time you are searching for a recipe.

The service works as a recipe aggregator, featuring more than 10,000 recipes posted by different bloggers.

When looking for a recipe, you can choose to eliminate results containing particular ingredients that you are allergic to or simply don't like.

This is a very good way to plan your meals on the go. If you see an ingredient on sale at the supermarket, you can look for a recipe containing it and whatever else you have in your fridge at home.

The search results are very creative, as a particular type of meat, for example, can be found in oriental and Mediterranean cuisine alike.

If you're looking for drinks, the app has a separate cocktail section that uses the same search engine base.

This app is not recommended for people who don't like to experiment, as there is no search-by-dish option. It does, however, make choosing a recipe online a fun and intuitive process.
