The young man that gets to go on a lunch date with "Esquire"'s sexiest woman alive paid the whopping sum of $30,000 for it. But the beautiful actress promised him that she is 'a cheap date', the Denver press reports.
The lucky man, identified only as John, had very little to say about himself when he got up on the stage at the 'Mollypalooza' charity event that took place on Tuesday at the Rock Island Club.
'I'm a senior vice president for an oil and gas company in Denver', the winner said, after outbidding another young man's offer of $23,500.
The lunch date will take place on August 18, when the actress will return from Italy, where she is currently working on her latest movie, to receive a humanitarian award. Biel wasn't present at the charity event for the same reason, but her father was and he showed himself really happy that his daughter raised enough money to pay Molly's medical bills.
She 'has this opportunity to create a buzz that would provide some support and she's more than happy to do that', Jonathan Biel said before the auction, adding that it was his daughter's idea to bid a date with herself.
The charity was organized in order to raise money for Molly Bloom, 18, who lost her left leg and part of her pelvis in a car accident. On her prom night, the girl was dragged almost 40 feet by a limousine and is still recuperating in the hospital. The $38,000 the event raised will help to pay for Molly's medical treatment.
