One of the most hyped projects in the works at Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, but also one of the most shrouded in secrecy, is the “Godzilla” reboot scheduled for a 2014 release. A first teaser trailer has leaked.

As usual, you can see it in full above.

Warners had initially announced a November 4 release for it, so chances are it won’t be up there for much longer.

With voiceover from the Bhagavad Gita, including the famous line, “Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds,” the teaser trailer builds tension and climaxes in one brief glimpse at the biggest and most dangerous monster that ever threatened humanity with complete destruction.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, “Godzilla” stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, Juliette Binoche, Elizabeth Olsen, and Sally Hawkins and I for one can’t wait to see it in theaters on May 16 next year.

It promises to be a mind-blowing visual spectacle.
