DeviantArt artist, enerjak, is the reason why the main character in
God of War is somehow connected to
Nintendo's console but don't let the title fool you, as much as you'd probably like to believe that
Sony's game stands a chance of making it to the Wii platform, that's not going to happen. They're just comics.
Kratos
on the other hand, looks very upset that his character will not make use of his special abilities with the Wii's motion-sensitive controller, showing his discontent by using the
Wiimote, uh... that's two Wiimotes, to fight, instead of his Blades of
Chaos.
But why did enerjak decide to put the main figure in God of War, Kratos, in the position of fighting with a couple of console controllers? I thought comics should be funny. Even the name of this very style of artwork means comedy. Right? Now, don't get me the wrong way or anything, the guy knows his way with crayons but if inspiration wasn't so good that day, he shouldn't have made mighty Kratos look like a retard. He's screaming Areeees!!! like he just caught him in bed with his wife. What's the deal with Kratos in that picture anyway? Is he like on the verge of insanity because God of War isn't on the Wii? Or maybe it is because of the wife thing after all.
Of course, there are the little ones, who laugh until their bellies burst at the sight of a lifted finger, so if DeviantArt has that public in mind and just that, then we shouldn't criticize their work. But how about some
Lara Croft comics? Yeahhh, that would be a page flipper. Especially if two Wiimotes were involved (batteries included of course).
