God of War II is a video game that was created by SCE Studio Santa Monica and was published by Sony Computer Entertainment America, Inc.
The game was launched exclusively on the PlayStation 2 home gaming console from Sony but the title, alongside the first entry in the series, has been relaunched in High Definition for the PS3.
It was released during the month of March 2007.
The title can be classed as being an action game played from a third-person perspective which incorporates elements from the fantasy, ancient and fantasy themes and has some adult influences.
After becoming God of War Kratos is not satisfied and once again finds a target for his revenge drive.
UNLOCKABLES
Secret message
Execute a 999,999 hit combo. To do this, try Kratos' Cyclone Of Chaos combo attacks with the Athena's Blades (hold L1 then press Square). Once you get a 999,999 hit combo, the URL http://www.islandofrhodes.org will appear.

GAMEPLAY HINTS
Blade of Olympus
Successfully complete game under the Titan difficulty setting.
Gift of Experience
After getting through Medusa's Temple, you will be where the eyes things are located. Turn around and go to the bog where you met the Barbarian King. Walk a short distance farther and you will see two chests. Open the one to the left to get the Gift of Experience.
Gift of Health
When you get to the area where the second Translator jumps off the ledge to avoid reading the book, place the fate statue by the gate at the end of the hall. Go through the mirror that rewinds time, freeze time, then roll back to where the statue originally was. Open the chest that is now there to get the Gift of Health.
