Sony has just confirmed that PlayStation Plus members in Europe can now download the God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta and try out the special online mode included in the hack and slash experience.
God of War: Ascension promises to deliver not just a sprawling single-player experience that once again stars franchise protagonist Kratos, but also a
multiplayer mode, for the first time in the history of the series.
Now, after releasing the
beta stage for the game for North American PlayStation Plus members earlier this week, Sony has confirmed that those in Europe can also try out the online mode in God of War: Ascension.
Players can choose to align themselves with Zeus or Ares, and engage in three different modes, including either Deathmacth or Team Deathmatch Favor of the Gods, and Capture the Flag, on two different maps, Desert of the Lost Souls and Forum of Hercules.
More details about the final version of the multiplayer mode will be revealed soon enough, according to the
PS blog.
