14 DAY TRIAL // Video game publisher Sony has announced a Collector’s Edition, a Special Edition and a new multiplayer pack called Mythological Heroes, which will be offered to those who pre-order the game and will include well-known characters Odysseus, Achilles, Orion and Perseus.
The Collector’s Edition for the new God of War game will include: a Kratos figurine, the multiplayer pack, an avatar pack and a dynamic theme for the PlayStation 3, the digital version of the official game soundtrack, a double XP bonus for multiplayer and a special season pass, all contained in a premium steelbook game case.
The Special Edition lacks the Kratos figurine, the season pass and the case.
God of War: Ascension is a prequel to the long-running series and is designed to make the core character more accessible while offering some background on his fight against the Gods.
The game will be offered exclusively on the PlayStation 3 in March 2013.
