Video game developer Sony Santa Monica and movie distributor Sony Pictures Home have announced that they are including a demo of the upcoming God of War: Ascension on the Blu-ray and the Blu-ray/DVD packages that will be launched on December 18.
The demo that buyers will get is the one that Sony showed during E3 2012 and allows both fans of the series and newcomers to get a taste of what the new God of War game has to offer.
The official description from Sony reads: “Both Blu-rays feature the Extended Directors Cut, which includes 20 minutes of new footage not shown in theaters, including an alternate ending and over 1.5 hours of special features and Blu-ray exclusive content. The God of War: Ascension Single Player demo is available with this special offer on the Blu-ray hybrid disc.”
God of War: Ascension is a prequel and the game will be delivered on the PlayStation 3 during March 2013.
