GoblinX is a Live CD based on the Slackware distribution. GoblinX Live CD is directed towards those users who appreciate quality applications and a workspace that is both practical and beautiful; it contains some of the most used and praised applications for Linux.

GoblinX is a completely operational Linux system contained on one CD and it runs from any CD-ROM drive, without requiring any installation, since it was created using Linux live scripts.

The first screen that appears after booting will allow you to choose the kernel image and add parameters to the system. However, you could just press "ENTER" at this prompt to use the default system settings.

- You can carry your favorite system around the world, to every place you like, since it is a Live CD bootable format distribution. You will be able to take it and use it in any computer, either at home, at school or on friends’ PCs.

I have tested this edition on an AMD Sempron 3000+ with 1 GB RAM and it works flawlessly. I was amazed to see how different the usual applications like Gimp, Gthumb or even Firefox can look when they are customized to the maximum.
