The people in Gresham, a small, quiet suburb of Portland in Oregon have witnessed a goat getting stuck on the roof of a house.

KPTV detailed how police pulled over while patrolling when they spotted the animal at Southeast 172nd Avenue.

They stopped to get it off at roughly 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, and an officer who tried retrieving it was told not to.

"The goat will charge you," a resident warned him.

Apparently, the animal is not very fond of strangers and only "respects one man," its owner. The man eventually got home and got it down. The animal is about two years old and it weighs 35 pounds (15.8 kg).

The goat is now OK and police officers believe that it has used a ramp to make its way to the roof of the house.
