Philosophers have often wondered what it is like to see the world from the perspective of different organisms. If you too are curious about these things, maybe you’d like to see things from your dog’s point of view.

If this is the case, GoPro has your back. You are probably familiar with the line of small cameras which can be mounted on surfboards, hats and whatnot, in order for you to record life’s precious moments. Well, this is no longer limited to humans.

This week, GoPro has announced the Fetch, a special harness of sorts that lets you fit two Hero cameras on top of your dog.

One of them will sit on the chest, while the other one will go live on the back of your pooch, so you get a view above the head. GoPro says the harness is “compatible” with all kinds of dog breeds, from the smallish to the extremely large ones (weight ranging from 15 lbs to 120 lbs / 0.45 kg to 54.4 kg).

So if for some obscure reason you want to be kept up to date with your dog’s warebouts 24/7, all you have to do is take $59.99 / €45 out of your pocket and purchase the harness.

After a while, you might actually be able to write Thomas Nagel’s sequel to “What is like to be a bat,” doggy-edition.
