Gnash, a free/libre SWF movie player, available as a standalone application and as a browser plug-in for Mozilla Firefox, Chromium and Konqueror, is now at version 0.8.10.

Gnash 0.8.10 has a lot of fixes and it even implements some new features. There are a lot of changes, so you can find a complete list in the official announcement.

Highlights of Gnash 0.8.10:

• Qt4 GUI now supports mouse wheel, clipboard, and screen resolution; • Implemented BitmapData functions copyPixels(), copyChannel(), perlinNoise() and noise(); • Support for control tags found after last expected frame was fixed; • Support for uncompressed sound with gstreamer media handler has been fixed; • OpenVG renderer was added; • Double buffering support for AGG in a framebuffer was improved; • Thumbnailer for SWF files and GNOME 2 desktop config for it was implemented.
