Gmail invite traders are living their last moments of glory and Gmail sweepstakes are soon to be in the past.

Gmail is now available to all Internet users interested in a 1 GB mail account (if they didn't adopt yet other full functional solutions)

Rumors on the imminent launching of the full version service have been around for quite some time, but now it really seems to be happening, since on the main page of the search engine many Internet users could come across messages inviting them to test the webmail service.

It's thus announced that the testing is open to anybody coming across such promo.

However, the official response of the company doesn't leave room for any estimates on the date the service will be available restriction-free.

Google's official reply reminds of the constant efforts for ensuring the best security conditions and ease of use for the Gmail users, while the database building system, so far based exclusively on invites from other users, is now seconded by a share of random invites for those lucky enough to notice the link on the main page of the site.

Taking into account Google's interest for attracting new users and its technical availability for such luxury, we could safely assume that the webmail service is living its days/weeks in the beta stage and shortly, the users will benefit from the whole variety of features Google promises.
