‘Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year Now Available on the App Store’, the publisher states, although the game is yet unavailable for download

Glu Mobile has announced the release of Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year for iPhone and iPod touch. Priced at $4.99, Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year is the sequel to Build-a-lot, an online game by HipSoft. Although Glu Mobile claims the game is immediately available from the iTunes App Store, Build-a-lot 2 is currently not featured as available on the online venue.

According to the game’s description, Players of Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year must build their way to the top and become a real estate market mogul, by combining strategy and time management. The game is touted by its makers as “a perfect investment,” thanks to its expanded gameplay, more colorful graphics and improved user interface.

“Our partnership with Glu Mobile has been a huge success when it comes to delivering great Build-a-lot gameplay on the iPhone and iPod Touch,” said Bryan Bouwman, Co-founder of HipSoft. “Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year is filled with new features and surprises and it is just as addicting as the original. Fans are going to love it.”

An iPad-compatible version of Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year is scheduled for release in August, according to Glu Mobile.
