Glu Mobile, the Californian mobile content publisher, recently announced no less than 14 new games that will be released in North America by the end of 2008. The upcoming titles include brand new games, created in collaboration with companies like DreamWorks, Warner Bros., FremantleMedia and Hasbro, as well as sequels to several Glu games that proved to be successful in the past.

Jill Braff, senior vice president of global publishing at Glu, said about the new games: "Our North American lineup for the second half of the year is our strongest ever and truly demonstrates the depth and diversity of our studios as well as the addition of new, quality original titles acquired through Superscape. With new mobile games based on popular game shows, sports like racing and hunting, and cartoons and superheroes, Glu's lineup features fun and engaging titles for mobile gamers of every type."

In July, Glu will be offering American gamers "Demolition Derby" and "Ice Age: Mammoth Mayhem". The first is a car racing game, while the second is based on the famous Ice Age animation film and asks you to overcome several natural obstacles in order to survive the ice age.

In August, users will get the chance to play "Vegas Hustler" and "Hamster Mansion", two action games full of interesting characters and lots of exciting adventures.

September will bring three new games: "TRANSFORMERS: G1 Awakening", "Family Feud" and "Brain Genius 2". While Brain Genius 2 is a sequel to the first Brain Genius, the other two titles are completely new for the mobile world.

Other three games will be released in October: "Concentration", "DiRT" and "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa". Furthermore, November and December will also bring new titles: "Deer Hunter 3", "The Price is Right", "SUPERMAN/BATMAN" and "Bugs Bunny: Rabbit Rescue".

More detailed information about each of the new Glu games will be given when they will become available for purchase.
