Miley Cyrus has a brand new video out, for the ballad “Wrecking Ball,” off her “Bangerz” album, and it’s so racy that everybody is talking about it. So is Gloria Estefan, as the video below will show.

The multi-Grammy winning singer was asked if she thought Miley was pretty much throwing her entire career down the drain with her newfound love for all things racy and trashy and – surprise, surprise! – she doesn’t.

As Gloria explains, Miley is looking for new ways to express herself and, because she’s an artist, the world should just let her be without judging her every move.

She also believes that the only reason why everyone is so outraged by Miley’s recent antics is because she used to have such a wholesome image as Hannah Montana.

We need to see past that and appreciate the talent she has, because there’s plenty of it, Gloria says.

I would disagree by saying that Miley is not an artist: she is a pop star and this makes a world of difference.
