The war of words between Nadya Suleman, known in the media solely as OctoMom, and celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, the woman who once tried to work with her to present her in the proper light in the media, is no longer news and seems to have died down a bit in recent weeks. However, a statement from Suleman has forced Allred to lash out against her again, as Us Magazine reports.

Just recently, speaking with the media, Suleman said that she would have probably chosen not to have so many babies if she could see things back then the way she saw them now. In other words, OctoMom was expressing regret over having octuplets, when she already had another six underage children at home, basically calling them a mistake. Allred, who has spoken against Suleman before – especially as regards the upcoming reality show – is none too happy about the statement and spares no expense in letting Suleman know it.

“I think it’s very, very sad when any mother calls her child, or in this case, eight little babies, a mistake. How are the babies going to feel when they grow up and read one day, as they will, or view on the internet, as they will, the fact that their mother calls them a mistake?” Allred tells the aforementioned magazine about Suleman’s most recent statement.

Although Allred claims to harbor no hard feeling for OctoMom because their understanding did not work out – as it’s known, the collaboration ended in a not too amicable manner, with Suleman calling the police to escort Gloria Allred out of her house, and the latter refusing to vacate the premises, as reports would have it – she is only speaking against her for the sake of the children. Suleman is using her kids as props or, even better, as her meal ticket and such behavior should not be condoned, let alone encouraged.

However, for the time being, the high-powered attorney is taking everything in stride, step by step, merely pointing to Suleman some of the things she says go on record. “That is just very, very sad to me as a person who is an advocate for children. Even if she thinks it, the fact that she sad it is very, very troubling because has she considered the impact that would have on the children long-term? That’s a question to which I don’t have the answer, but I think that many people will agree with me that it’s rather disturbing that she would say that.” Allred explains for the same publication.
