E-Ten announced the approaching launch of Glofiish M750, a new Pocket PC designed to answer the needs of those who want to be connected to the Web anytime and anywhere (bloggers, chatters, podcasters and video makers are included here by the Taiwanese company).

Glofiish M750 comes in a simple but good looking case, weighs 179 grams (6.3 ounces) and, when closed, measures 110 x 59 x 17.5 millimeters (4.3 x 2.3 x 0.68 inches). The handset runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional and brings quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE, built-in GPS, Wi-Fi, a 2.8 inch touchscreen TFT display (65k colors and 240 x 320 pixels), a full sliding QWERTY keyboard for easy typing text messages, email or blog posts, a 2 Megapixel camera with auto focus, email (POP, IMAP and SMTP support), IE Mobile browser, Windows Media Player, Music player (MP3, AAC, WAV, WMA and AMR), Bluetooth 2.0, mini USB, speakerphone, 64 MB of internal memory and microSD card support.

The Pocket PC is powered by a Samsung S3C 2442 processor at 500 MHz; it has 256MB of ROM, and a 1530 mAh Li-Ion battery capable of providing up to 6 hours of talk-time and up to 240 hours of stand-by time.

Glofiish M750 was announced in a press release issued today, together with Glofiish M810, which was first unveiled in February, during MWC 2008. The two Pocket PCs look and have the same features, except the fact that M810 also features 3G tri-band connectivity and a VGA video-call front camera.

E-Ten says both devices will be commercially available in "two to three weeks" in most of the countries across the globe, without mentioning their retail prices. Anyway, it's clear the M810 model will be more expensive, since it brings 3G data transfer speeds.
