We all know about E-TEN's new Pocket PC phone, the
Glofiish M700, officially announced two weeks ago. As they have announced, the handset is going to be launched for the European mobile market at the Mobile Office 2006 exhibition taking place in Paris between December 5th and December 7th . The release is going to be coordinated by E-TEN, the phone's manufacturer, in partnership with its distributor, PARTELEC.
The M700, the first Pocket PC Phone from E-TEN featuring a sliding keyboard, will
offer a Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system and
Direct Push Technology so all the European business customers will be able to manage their time much easier and to work a lot more efficiently than before.
The handheld will also provide its future users with a full range of connectivity features: GSM, EDGE and GPRS so one will be able to make calls and transfer data wherever he might be, and, as a bonus, the IEE 802.11 b/g technology support for quick access to the Wi-Fi network of choice. Together with these, the one that will buy E-TEN's phone will have access to GPS and TMC functions with the help of a
SiRF Star III chipset, allowing the user to go on travels without the fear of getting lost.
At the same exhibition, E-TEN will also have at its show booth the Gloofiish X500, a handheld released by the mobile phone manufacturer at the beginning of November. This is a phone almost identical to the M700 I wrote about until now in this article, the main difference being the sliding
QWERTY keyboard.
With the M700 launch in Europe, E-TEN has brought to the public attention a mobile communication device that has been optimized to offer their future customers the fastest messaging experience and mobile productivity beyond all the previous experiences.
