The GNOME developers behind the Glib Networking (glib-networking) project have announced a few days ago that the development version 2.37.1 of Glib Networking is available for download and testing, as part of the GNOME 3.9.1 desktop environment.

Glib Networking 2.37.1 fixes a GnuTLS bug that could cause hangs or bursts of CPU usage, fixed CFLAGS issues, which occurred when building the package with GnuTLS in a different prefix, fixes a hang while rehandshaking with the 3.x branch of GnuTLS, and a GnuTLS handshaking crash in multithreaded use.

The Glib Networking 2.37.1 package also fixes "automatic" mode for GNOME Proxy, which is now used in both Unity and GNOME sessions. Here are the new or updated translations for this release: Friulian, Indonesian and Turkish.

Download Glib Networking 2.37.1 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
